National Animal Control Officer Week

We want to thank our own wonderful ACO, Kay Fisk, for everything she does for the Richland Hills Shelter and all of the animals in her care. This dear lady goes above and beyond to help those in need. She has saved so many lives and helped so many to have better lives. Every animal in the shelter gets every opportunity to find their forever home - even if it takes several months.

She believes that EVERY adoptable animal deserves to be loved and have a home. She educates the City residents on proper care of animals and the importance of spaying, neutering and vaccinating every pet. Her position as the ACO of Richland Hills Animal Services is not just a job. She loves what she does. She loves the animals and is so great with people, too. We are so fortunate to have her. She's a wonderful person and a perfect ambassador for the City of Richland Hills.

If you get a chance, drop by and thank her for all that she does to make the shelter a better place. It truly IS a shelter to those without a voice. I believe we have the BEST ACO in Texas and beyond. Thank you, Kay, from all of us volunteers and all of the animals! We love you!!
